What do I do when construction is complete?

When construction of the project is complete, and the site is fully stabilized (meaning 80% or more vegetative cover over all surfaces that were disturbed during construction).  At this time, a Notice of Termination  (NOT) must be filed with NYSDEC.  This is also true when ownership of the project is transferred; the new owner becomes the responsible party upon transfer, and must file a new NOI and comply with the terms of the permit.  If construction is complete, an Operation and Maintenance Plan must be in place for all permanent stormwater management structures remaining on the site in order for the NOT to be filed.
